How to delete your account
Email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it:
Subject: Delete my Tutti account. Tell us the account email, your username if you know it, and how you sign in. We may need to confirm you control the address before we delete anything — that check protects you from someone else deleting your account.
Deleting the app is not the same thing
Removing Tutti from your phone deletes the copy of your data stored on that device. If you created an account, the synced copy stays on our servers until you delete the account itself. Use one of the two routes above.
What gets deleted
All of it. Specifically:
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile — display name, username, bio, instrument and profile photo
- Every practice session you've logged, with its ratings, focus tags and breakdowns
- Your entire repertoire — pieces, composers, levels and statuses
- Your goals, streak state, streak freezes, claimed quests and note balance
- Your friendships, pending friend requests, nudges and pinned friends
- Your battle history
- Your leaderboard statistics, and your entry on any leaderboard
- Your push notification tokens, so notifications stop
How long it takes
- Immediately — you're signed out, your profile stops being findable, and you disappear from friends' lists and leaderboards.
- Within 30 days — everything above is deleted from our live systems.
- Within 90 days — the data is gone from encrypted backups too, as those backups rotate out. We don't restore deleted accounts from backup.
Deletion is permanent. There's no undo, and we can't recover the data afterwards.
What we may keep, and why
Narrow, and only where the law or basic safety requires it:
- Records we're legally required to retain — for example transaction records tied to a purchase, for tax purposes. These are billing records, not your practice history.
- A minimal record of the deletion itself — so we can prove we honoured your request if you or a regulator asks.
- Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you or your device.
- Security and abuse records, where keeping them is necessary to prevent fraud or protect other users.
None of that can be used to rebuild your account or identify you as its former owner.
Before you go
- Want a copy first? Email us and ask for an export before you delete — we'll send your practice history and repertoire in a portable format. Once the account is deleted, we can't produce one.
- Subscribed to Tutti Pro? Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings or Google Play subscriptions first, or you'll keep being billed.
- Just want a break? You don't have to delete anything. Signing out, or turning off notifications and the global leaderboard, is reversible. Deleting isn't.
